Hi, Iโm Sharnie ๐๐ป
Iโm a part-time masterโs student, disabled mum of two, and creator of a soft living space rooted in honesty, science, and real life.
I share gentle vlogs, reflections, and small everyday moments from my home in North Wales โ exploring what it means to live slowly, meaningfully, practically and sustainably in a world that often asks us to move too fast.
Why I Started Sharing ๐ฌ
For a long time, I felt caught between two worlds.
One valued productivity, optimisation, and constant improvement.
The other โ the one I needed โ valued rest, curiosity, and living within real limits.
After surviving a cardiac arrest at 25 years old and learning to live with long-term health conditions, my relationship with time, energy, and success changed completely. I began to look for ways of living that were softer, more sustainable, and grounded in reality rather than pressure.
This space grew from that search. Not as an escape from real life, but as a way of meeting it more gently.
What Youโll Find Here ๐บ๏ธ
My ideas sit at the intersection of:
โ๏ธ soft living & slow routines
๐งฌ science-informed practical wellness
๐ซ home, creativity & everyday rituals
๐ท honest conversations about energy, health, and motherhood
I believe small, ordinary moments can still hold meaning โ and that understanding the science behind our bodies and environments can help us live with more kindness toward ourselves, and others.
A Gentle Approach to Science ๐งฌ
My background in biology (BSc degree) shapes how I see the world, but this isnโt a space for perfection or expertise without practical applications.
Instead, I share science as something I live and explore โ relevant to daily life through curiosity, reflection, and actual experience.
Soft living, for me, isnโt about aesthetics or an escape from the ‘real world’. Itโs about building a life that works with our limits rather than against them.

Outside the Videos ๐๏ธ
When Iโm not filming, youโll usually find me at home with my family โ cooking, reading, experimenting with simple living ideas, or working slowly toward our family’s long-term dreams of sustainability and self-sufficiency.
This website is a quiet home for all of those things, and more.
Youโre Welcome Here ๐ค
If youโre tired of hustle culture, searching for gentler rhythms, or simply looking for a calm corner of the internet, youโre in the right place.
